AGRO.VI.M. of Kalamata - Greece is established in 1995 and is a continuation of A. Gyfteas founded in 1964 and D. Gyfteas & Co. founded in 1972.

The combination of resources and experience enabled the new company to meet the challenges of the rapidly expanding work market.

Through the commitment of two generations it has become a modern and efficient company in the olive oil industry while maintaining the tradition.

Beginning with the production of olive oil, traditional to the Kalamata area, AGRO.VI.M. S.A. has diversified its operations to include other types of edible oils and other products.

The objective remains the same today as it was originally; growth through the continuing commitment to provide the highest quality products to meet the changing needs of the customers.

AGRO.VI.M. S.A. is involved in the industrial processing and packaging of a variety of agricultural products. The main products are: Olive oil (packaged and bulk), olives, other edible oils, dried figs and other dried fruits, nuts, citrus, seasonable fresh fruits and vegetables.

Olive oil and olive products form the basis of AGRO.VI.M. S.A. business. The company typically buys in excess of 20% of the production in Messinia. AGRO.VI.M. S.A. has exported different proportion of olives in recent years having branded products in the Greek as well as foreign markets.

AGRO.VI.M. S.A. buys over 40% of the production of dried figs and exports the 100% of each production.

AGRO.VI.M. S.A. through its modern, new facilities and quality control procedures is anattractive supplier of Greek products to main international customers. It thus have strong competitive potential. The company has demonstrate a remarkable strength in developing export markets over the last decade as demonstrated by its impressive list overseas customers.
