Qin
Xiaoguang (pen-name Xiaoguang, studio name Chengyizhai) was born in
Beijing 1965.
Influenced
by his family's cultural background, Xiaoguang took a deep liking for
traditional Chinese painting since childhood. Under the guidance of his
teacher, WANG Qi, he devoted himself
whole-heartedly to the study of the
classical 'Gongbi-Hua' gradually forming his own style, excelling in the
painting of fauna and flora (Japenese: 'kachoga') in particular.
His works
were exhibited all over China and published in calendars and other media.
He is a regular member of the classical Chinese painting guild in Beijing
and runs a professional studio together with his friend Han Yingli. |
